Well, the season has started and there are a few out there and I wanted to hear what you all thought. I'll start.

Ottawa - Gerber vs Emery - I think Ottawa should ride Gerber while he is hot. I think he is the better goalie overall (also the better team mate). I would look to trade Emery while his stock is still high. This would also free up money to resign Spezza.

Montreal - Huet vs Price - While Price is the future I think Montreal is playing this smart. Play Huet 65% of the games and have Price and Halak rotate playing backup while the other plays a tonne in the minors.

Los Angeles - Bernier vs Laberrera - I think the kings will return Bernier to the chl and will go with Labs and Aubin. Clouts may make it back up as a back up but I doubt it. The other possibility is signing cujo to play with labs once bernier is sent down. This only changes if Bernier plays amazing in his next few starts.

Toronto - Toskala vs Raycroft - Toskala played great in the loss to Pittsburg and I believe it comes back to poor defensive play. Both are good goalies and I can see them splitting time with Toskala getting 60% of the playing time. Toronto needs to shore up their defense and I can't see that happening.

decent controversies there, the ottawa one will be definately one that changes by deadline if not sooner.
being a habs fan, i know price isn't ready, but would love to see him get the nod, and we all know huet loses about 10-20 games a season do to injury, if occurs before deadline, and price is playing great huet may be moved.

as for toronto. well from what i know they need defense bad, and no matter how good their goalie maybe they lack support for him, use both and stay with whomever gets the job done
