Made a totally random road trip Saturday morning to Seattle with .g. and burebuyer to watch the Mariners play the Red Sox.
We ended getting really nice seats next to the Red Sox dugout, so we all decided to grab baseballs to see if we can grab an autograph or two. When the gates opened we got to our section as quickly as we can but there was already a crowd of fans crowding the area also looking to grab autographs and to watch the Sox take batting practice. After missing the chance to get Julio Lugo, Jason Bay, and Brad Penny's autograph as they walked by. I recognized a familiar face talking with a couple of the Sox players. It was UFC/MMA veteran Matt "The Law" Lindland. He ended up watching the rest of BP at the tunnel next to the Sox dugout. So we decided to follow him instead of waiting for the Red Sox. As soon as he turned around I shouted to him, he look shocked and surprised and he gave me a wave. I asked if he can sign an autograph and he was like "Yeah sure". So I tossed him a pen and my ball. He gave me a weird look and said "You want me to sign a ball?" I was like "Yeah why not"
So that was pretty cool as I've never gotten an autograph at a ballgame before.
.g. was cool enough to get a good shot of Lindland after he signed.
That definitly made my weekend
