Phew... I just won an auction for a card that will definitely solidify my Dawes collection. I'm glad I decided to wait until the last possible moment to place my high bid, it went up quite a bit in the last few seconds. Expensive, but it will be nice to have one of these.

Can't wait to have it in hand... it's coming from Vancouver, so if the seller mails it out tomorrow I should have it on Thursday.
 
congrats! i was keeping an eye on that and debating if i should get it just to add with my other one but figured someone else would appreciate it more. you can probably thank mike for the final bump. :laugh:

its too bad this is attached to the front or i'd consider moving it to ya.

Yeah, I know I can't compete with some of the other Lundqvist collectors on a Lundqvist shield, so I figured I might as well take my chances on a Dawes shield. There's not nearly the demand... yet? He's very talented, definitely has the natural goal scorer's touch.

You can all thank Mike for the final bump on most any nice Rags card. That is if you even win it.;)

Great looking card there, good to see the 1/1's end up in the hands of the big player collectors.:cool:
 
Hi soren,nice pick up on the patch auto of Dawes!!!im the one who has the pressplate 1/1 of dawes.Im also in PG BC as well.Local BC guy and Sonny from Terrace knows me well!!Anyways if your still interested in it you can pm me here thanks darcy

Thanks, I'll definitely get back to you on that plate one way or the other. Good to see there's another collector from my area on these boards. :)
