Does the condition of the protective case matter? I have a couple cards that I got that have corners that look like they were dropped or something. It's small and not easily noticeable but I was wondering if collectors cared about that.

If your selling it and corners are messed up you should let the buyers know.

Some picky ones will ask you if the surface have scratch.

I`ve bought slabs that look like they were use in a mississipi game and wasent impress that it wasent mentioned.

I agree. Many collectors like the cases to be like new. I know that I do.

I for one am picky about the cases, lol....and yes I bought a graded RC that had a damaged slab but wasn't mentioned in the auction. (looks like mice chewed at a corner or two) I eventually replaced it.
