Hello everyone,
I have been out of hockey for quite some time, and was very active on here years ago. I transitioned into baseball, and made some good money "prospecting". I have lost most of my interest in that, and am coming back to some hockey, but mainly for vintage as collecting the greats seems very exciting. With prospects in baseball, it is like the stock market, and you need to be actively engaged. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, and I am having fun doing other things. Hence my move into vintage. I am new to this, and realize that there is a lot to understand about vintage. One thing I learned early is to buy the nicest copy you can afford, with great eye appeal. What better way to start my journey, than with a Gretzky RC! I would love to hear your opinions on the "eye appeal" of this card, as a new vintage collector, I would love feedback. Also on the price. I paid $xxx for it, and normally I do not really care about what other think about a price, nor would I post the price, but because the grade does not mean everything in vintage, and "eye appeal" goes a long way, I would love to hear your thoughts. So here it is... my first vintage piece!
