What's this talk about Ulf? ESPN was saying Tippett was taking over the coaching reigns.

Ulf is an assistant coach that had been taking on the head coaching duties while the Gretzky issue was sorted out. Once Gretz let them know he was going to remove himself from the equation, they went out and hired a real head coach.

Go for the knees, dive whenever possible, and if you happen to end the career of one of the most beloved players of a generation, so be it. That will be his pep talk.

I will never forgive Ulf as long as I live for what he did to Cam Neely. I hope he gets a puck in the head while standing on the bench. I don't want him to die, just bleed profusely for awhile. I don't dislike many people more than I dislike him.

Is that what happened to you cause clearly somewhere you took a blow to the head.

It's to bad that Gretzky stopped, it was probably one of the last few attractions that Phoenix had to draw in some fans. Hopefully this whole mess ends sooner than later so they can move on, whether it's in Phoenix or elsewhere.

Thanks for the clear-up, Cory. I was getting a bit confused when people kept mentioning Ulf as head coach when I saw that report.

I'd rather see Deano spend the $$$ on a first string goalie. But I have to admit that if they had Gretz signing autos at intermission it would put butts in seats which is the name of the game.

A few new players, the young talent in starting to show their stuff. Gretzky and the Yotes staff have been preaching patience to everyone especially their own fans. They are learning and getting better.
