Hi,

I have a friend who grew up in Calgary in the 1990s and has TTM and personal autographs from old timers autos. The most notable card is a Gretzky auto.

Does anyone have insight to selling or value?
I know most of it is very low value, but is there interest in the hobby?

Here's a pic

Hi - the TTM/ In-person autograph market is fairly limited and the value is fairly low except for authenticated, old-timer or seldom seen autographs. None of these would really apply.

Taking a quick look at the Gretzky as well, and I'd be 99.8% sure it is an autopen signature. It's simply too good and is consistent with the other Gretzky autos from the time.

A little video on autopen signatures: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAg4RH_NqDg

I don’t trust any through the mail Gretzky auto. Or any non-UD certified auto for that matter. Too many fakes, auto pens, or Walter signed autos floating around out there.
