Group Case Break...please Read

I talked to Bruce about getting some fire lit on the Baseball forum around here. I get some good case prices from guys over at Blowout, so I want to see what we can do.

Looking for some ideas for cases. We can do it by the team, or a number of other ways. I will take care of ordering, shipping and ensuring everyone gets their end. Personally, 08 Legendary Cuts looks nice. Premier will be nice as well. Several good products out there or coming soon.

I would like to see what kind of interest there would be in a group case break. to be impartial, I would not take a team unless we needed it to finish a break. If you might be interested, let me know and I will gauge if there is enough interest to do this.

I'm in if the price is right. Cuts and Premier both look solid this year. Cuts has the 3rd cut auto per case and 4 gu/auto's per box instead of the usual 2.

Cuts has a "potential" for a 3rd cut, but yes, the doubling of Gu and a greater list of names than in the past seems like it might make this a great case to break.

Anyone have a suggestion how to do this? doing it by team wouldnt really be fair and theres too many players to do it by the player.

Maybe by the pack? Half box? Any ideas welcomed!

How much more interest would there be with this? We can pack it out and people can pick packs in each box, sides of a specific box, etc. GREAT potential for big hits.

16 Box Case, 12 Packs per box. Thats 192 Packs.
Price would be about 9.00 per pack with shipping/materials costs included. Might be a little more based on paypal taking out their piece. I will work that out if there is enough interest. Hobby price is slated to be about 13-15 a pack with the addition of a possible 3rd cut per case and 2 more GU per box. I can list each box with packs 1-12. Left side 1-6 going top to bottom, right side 7-12 top to bottom. I would make a list and people could choose what pack from what box they would be interested in.

Essentially, at least 2 people are going to hit a cut auto for 9 bucks. Could be a 3rd person too. Theres also a couple of non cut autos that look to be solid names.

I am not going to take any packs as theres no way to be impartial with the break. I would need to have the case sold out pack wise before I would order it.

I'd say break the case then do a drawing . a name in a hat and a number in another . for each hit ?
 
Tom I would probably be in for at least 1 box worth of packs if you pack it out. Maybe more. You should put up a list of each box, pack 1-12 and let people choose their packs. When everyone has paid then you can order the case. Just my humble opinion.

thats the plan. started to outline that above. seems like everyone gets a better shot that way.

I dunno I'd rather want a box, someone can buy 4-5 packs the way you are planning and they could hit nothing, then another guy buys 3 packs and can get a gu in each pack.

thats part of doing the group break...taking the chance.
If you wanted to buy into 12 packs and just take them all from the same box, I am sure that would be fine.
 
OK, heres NEW details.
Box prices are 150 a box. If I get a case, the cost drops to 118.75 a box.
case would be 1900 delivered (free shipping) for 16 boxes. With the purchase of the case, I also get a free case of bubble mailers (100 of them) so that will eliminate some total cost. Looks like the actual cost would be about 10.00 a pack.

TO GET THESE BASEBALL BOARDS GOING, I WILL COVER ALL SHIPPING COSTS MYSELF, NO MATTER HOW MANY PACKS YOU BUY FROM THE BREAK.

So, I am going to make a new thread with the information to gauge if there is enough interest.
