10 days after I celebrated my own 50th birthday, my PC guy Sean Burke turns 50 himself.

Here are 50 of my favourite cards of the man himself

50

This year's Titanium was one of my favourite designs

49

Those BAP emeralds outta 10 were tough

48

Love some oddball issues and nice photos on this one

47

Another oddball and rare Canes image issue

46

The Stamp design diecut was just so cool

45

44

A set that wasn't supposed to be released because of copyright issues but they made their way into the market somehow

43

The Gold Medallion were apparently tough/sought after. I got this for a song after the hype started up a couple years ago

I liked the concept of the Auto Draft and have a couple copies of this one

34

The Pacific Nights version /10 was tough to finally track down Bonus: I own the pads in this photo!

33

The Pearson cards were apparently only given out at the Pearson awards dinner - lucky to have one (I wasn't at the dinner LOL)

32

I really like the Canada Autos from this set - I have the Liut and Vachon ones as well and they really have eye appeal

Top 10 time!!

What a piece on that glove

9

If you're wondering why a simple parallel is in the top 10 well 97 Invincible is my favourite all time design and the Ice Blue my favourite of the coloured parallels

8

Nice 4 colour swatch in a small window

7

Brett (bamlinden) came across this and secured it for me. What a great Pad piece 1/1

BTP pieces will dominate the top 10 as you will see

That glove is just filthy!

4

"BUR" is it a cool piece or what LOL

This one came from Dan (27Leafs27) and is a true 1/1 from 2001 when 1/1s meant something

EYE love this card LOL. What an amazing swatch of Burkie's glove

And finally #1 was a gift from my good buddy Dean (bto3105) that he picked up at an Expo for me. It is found below in my signature

Thanks for indulging me and Happy 50th Burkie

PS If you have any Burke cards you'd like to add/show off please do

Wow Geoff, Happy Birthday to our man indeed. I think I recognise a few from days gone by when my Burkie collection was going strong.
Some awesome cards there bud, and yes Sean has one of the nicest sigs going.
Cheers.
Dan.

Awesome pad 1/1. Still remember seeing that one at the local show. Stopped me in my tracks.

Some tremendous items!! Love it. Honestly though my fave might be that diecut stamp. One of the all-time great designs/sets.

Thanks for sharing.

One of my favorite sets out of hte 90's was 97 Invincible as well. Some awesome cards, he does have a wicked signature. Congrats on the 50th to both you and Burke!

Burke is 50? Heck we are getting old, lol.

I remember watching Burke's splash run with the Devils as a rookie. As kids we thought the way he played was so cool. Before you know it everyone all had their goalie pads bent in at the knees trying to stand like him.

Great cards Geoff

I still remember when he went started as rookie with the Devils in the playoffs. Instant star in my little town and everyone was going nuts for his OPC rookie card. I was lucky enough to have a few and made some great trades. Congrats to both you and Burke on turning 50, hope to see you this summer when we visit St. Johns ya old fart.

Oh ya, great looking cards. Thanks for showing them

Neat nifty fifty cards and about 50 years old, that's nothing.
Congratulations (belated) onyou reaching the half century mark!

Had to Wikipedia Burke to check out his career stats, and dunno how I completely forgot he actually played ever so briefly for the Canucks when we seemingly had a never ending revolving door of goalies. Happy Birthday to Burke and Burke's number one collector :)

Really stellar show, ITG definitely seems to be well-represented in the top end of a lot of player collections with some of their unique jumbo cards, I'll never get tired of seeing the monogram and the Super Glove, such sweet cards!

Amazing cards and amazing show. Everything about #28 is just so pleasing to the eye, very well designed card and sweet signature...... but that old Devils piece is siiiick

Love it! Now that's what I call a Show & Tell! Love collections that gonna make to the era where Parallels were pioneered and it was such an accomplishment to get a 1/1 card.

Happy Birthday to one of the all time greats!

Happy 50th Indeedy!! Burkie gets more than his share of hobby love here in this Top 50!! What a collection and career in cards!!
