Has this ever happened to you?

I was at my card shop about 30 mins ago and one of the regular customers was tearing through some 08 Chronology and 08 Exquisite.

He pulled a Kobe Bryant redemption from Chronology and it was ALREADY scratched off.

Has this happened to anyone before?

The shop is a official Upper Deck redemption center so the owner said he will take care of it.

WOW!!! How shady is that!?!?!? Resealed box maybe??? (thinking maybe not. Why put the redemption back in) I, for one, will be very interested to find out if he is able to redeem this. I have never heard of this happening. Please keep us posted
