Im worried now.

Sell sheet to actual checklist :eek:

No 'Rush' Autos!

What was on sell sheet as a Sport Legends auto is now a GU.. (Im still researching that)

Only 70 autos?

After the burnie I got from 2 cases of Mayo Im a little gunshy of actually taking delivery of my 2 cases of Champs.

I saw someone refer to this as "Chumps" after the checklist got posted on UD's site.

Again some of this is my own investigation and some of these are Parrotted comments I have read.

Do you have opinions or observations I'd love to hear them before doomsday Tuesday! I can still flip my prepaid cases for a decent price at this point so....
 
I still think this looks like a fun break. It will be something diffrent and until some of it is broken it will be say how it will be accepted. If you are nervous enough about it to make a post. Flip the product now and save yourself the worry.
 
Yeah if your having second thoughts I would flip it while you have the chance. I looks like many people may still bust it, but I know I was planing on it until I saw the compelted checklist, now its just not for me, I will spend the difference on ITG BTP or then again maybe not, some buddies want me to buy a travel trailer so we'll see.
 
There is a limited print run so you can flip it easily. We were searching for more case and all the canadian distributors told us there was none to be found.
 
i wouldn't think that deeply into it. i think UD just made the same mistake Topss did and found out they couldn't deliver.
 
If you are making your pre-orders based upon prelim. checklists and info sheets provided by Topps and/or UD you are making a big mistake. When you see this early info, consider it a wishlist and when they fail to hit the mark, you will not be as disappointed. Having said all that, Champs will be a winner and if you decide not to rip what you ordered, you should be able to flip the wax pretty easily. Just wait until folks start to see what the SP autos sell for, etc... My $.02. Mike

I do admit to getting sucked in by sell sheets but the whole reason here is my passion for "minis" and the vintage reprint stuff. Ive assembled all the topps sets like A&G, T205, T206 , cracker jacks so that was the whole appeal for me!

Ive been scanning ebay and.. well

What are your opinions now that it's been out a few days?
 
I wasn't going to bust any but decided to open a half box of it. I liked it so far. the cards are great for TTM auto's. I used to bust Pacific Exhibit to get the cards to send away to players.

the mini's were cool, i got an auto and a GU jersey in the half box i bought.

The packs were easy to rip for a change which is nice.. felt like the old days of Topps heritage and C55.

All in all, was it worth the money, i would say Yes because of the low print run of the hobby cases and the mini auto's always tend do well for set collectors. There are still those out ther etrying to complete the C55 and old Heritage sets.

Would I buy more, prolly not. I am saving my money for SPA which is out in a few weeks.
