Hat Trick for Semin

Welcome back kid! Semin scored his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th goals of the season tonight against Carolina. Washington won 5-2 and Ovechkin got the other two goals.

I agree Rod. These two could be incredible this year. It will be interesting to see how (or if) the league adjusts to them. They sure couldn't adjust to AO on his own...

Semin has always had the wheels....but I think teams are so focused on AO, that they forget about Semin...

I was thinkin' the exact same thing....

As for laying a beating onto the Cup Champs... This in itself is a good thing. Not to mention that the 'Canes are division rivals.. So this is a four pointer....

The high lights gave me something to smile at. Though, I can't believe that Chris Clark had four assists.. Must be a case of being in the right place at the right time. Or could it be that he has become a well rounded hockey player since being awarded the 'C'

I can't believe it either, Brian, especially since he only had THREE assists that game


But yes, I agree, Clark has seemed to become a more complete player since getting the C in the last few games. It will be quite the exciting season
