What does everyone think of HBO doing another series on the two NHL teams leading up to the Winter Classic again this year?

Think focusing on the Flyers/Rangers will live up to the hype of the Penguins/Capitals series?

Being a Pens fan last year I was very interested in watching, although I love seeing the behind the scenes view, and will probably still watch, I'm not as interested in it this year. Rags and Flyers fans should be though!

BINGO!

I really had no interest at all in last year's. Couldn't care less about the Pens or Caps.

Care even less about the Flyers or Rangers.

If it was on at a convenient time, and I had nothing else to do, I would likely tune in for a bit. If I had to choose between it and an actual game, the game would win out every time, even if it was Minnesota versus Nashville.

I actually had no interest in last years but after I watched it once I was hooked I must say. I'll watch again this year also. I find it interesting watching the daily things these guys do and go through. Kind of gives you a different perspective on how they really are instead of just what you see on the ice.

Will definitely watch again! I don't care who the teams are.

Oil Change on the NHL Network was a great show. The 'Behind the scenes' shows are great exposure for hockey. Showing viewers what it takes to play in the NHL on a daily basis.

I wish the NHL did a HARD KNOCKS version for hockey.

24/7 is a great concept, I love watching it leading up to Mayweather and Pacquiao fights. And I really enjoyed last seasons. I will definitely watch this season, I mean you're going to have Torts going so blue that even Bruce Boudreau will blush. HBO has a knack for making the best sports television. The Franchise, following the San Francisco Giants was awesome this year.

If HBO could make Hard Knocks with the Kansas City Chiefs interesting I don't think it really matters what teams they follow with the 24/7 format.

Unfortunately I won't watch because I no longer have HBO. I'd probably DVR them if I still have it...Could always ask my mother to DVR it and burn it to DVD...maybe at least 1 episode...

There's more than just the Winter Classic going for this year's 24/7 series.

Actually there is, I think they are already taping footage. There was a twitter post I think 3-4 days ago can't remember by who that showed a picture of Rangers Rookies waiting for the lights to come back on so they could play their game in their rookie tournament. Apparently HBO was there taping already.

LUNDQVIST in HD!!!!! i can't wait. :D

also, i enjoyed last years series. watched the Rangers thrash both teams around. :D :D :D

Exactly. The 24/7 formula is such a winner that they even sucked me into watching the NASCAR version, and I never watch NASCAR.

It will be just as good, if not better.

- You still have Talbot, the star of the show.
- You have John Tortaletta and reporters; always gold.
- You have Chris Pronger, who dishes out the best elbows and soundbites.
- Jagr playing against 2/3 of his fomer teams in the game before and the WC.
- More Talbot.
