He Shoots, He Saves redemption and some 1/1 fightin' goodness!

Two cards came in today; both I have been anxiously waiting for.

First off, is my Between the Pipes "He Shoots, He Saves" redemption card that I sent away for. This is the first time I've sent away for a HSHS redemption, and while I was HOPING it would net me the Osgood/Vernon/Hasek card (I know, my odds were crazy bad), this one turned out to be not so shabby!

2010-11 BTP He Shoots, He Scores (Chicago) #4/20 Turco/Crawford/Esposito

Love the fact that each swatch is a two-colour swatch, and having the old school Tony O piece makes it that much sweeter! The seam on the Crawford is nice as well!

I've got a deal going for it with a member of another board already, so unfortunately this is NFT.


The other card is one I managed to snag on eBay, sold by Richard aka "enforcersonly" here on HI. This was in his own collection and he decided to part with it, and I was glad he did!

2008-09 SP Game Used Famous Fight Strap Combos 1/1 Osgood/Roy

THRILLED to get this one in the collection. It's an outstanding card, and looks good with the other cards I've either got or am currently negotiating for, from the Osgood/Roy fight:

2009-10 SP Game Used Famous Faceoffs /2

2002-03 BAP Famous Scraps (still negotiating a trade on this one)

And of course the 2009-10 Net Brawlers II card.
Still looking for the 2007-08 Net Brawlers I card (1/1) for the Osgood/Roy fight. Anyone out there ever seen it??

Some cool cards there of the Roy/Osgood scrap, brings back some good memories of the Wings/Avs rivalry back in the day.

Thanks for the comments! ZP9: the rivalry was pretty intense back in those days.. Roy fought Vernon then Osgood in consecutive seasons, and those teams HATED each other. Good times, good times.

Awesome stuff! Funny story I met Roy in Las Vegas quite a few years ago and got him to sign the Osgood/Roy fight photo. He shot me a dagger of a look but signed anyway. To this day I still need Osgood to sign the thing. He doesn't live to far from me either but I've never met the guy! Luckily he's still going to live in Michigan so I still have a chance!


Edit: Oh, I think Winston has the HSHS triple with Osgood/Vernon/Hasek available if you still need it.
