help with 00/01 Titanium...

I need some help from all you knowledgeable Forum members...how can I tell the difference between 2000/01 Titanium and the "retail" version? The book says they're " the same in most ways" but lists them separately...Thanks!

Well the rookies/SP's are numbered to /99 in the Hobby, and /199 in the Retail. Other than that, I thought that the base cards were identical.

I think you're spot on Rod re: the base, they didn't use silver or gold foil until 2001-02 or possibly 2002-03 to mark the difference between hobby/retail base.

I agree, the base cards were the same. I think the retail had red /299 parallels that weren't in Hobby.

In the US, the outlets that had retail packs, usually had single hobby packs in blister packages for sale... I think retail had one jersey per box, and was easily searchable.

In short, retail Titanium didn't really have a major selling point.
