Help with Fred Arthur (Flyers) and K Hodgson (Edmonton)?

We just picked up a WHACK of programs from the early 2000s back into the 1930s. Does anyone know why some of the 80s Oilers programs would be stamped with "K HODGSON"? I can't find anything on him.



Also, I have a Flyers postcard signed by Fred Arthur. The guy has an interesting story which you can read right here, but I can find nothing for him autographed. Any insight as to whether he is really tough?

Fred Arthur is virtually impossible to get an autograph from. I collect auto's ttm and in person and I haven't heard or seen anyone getting him - ever. I have over 3500 different player from the NHL and WHA and Fred is one I still need. He is tough to get
 
Maybe K. Hodgson owned the program & was testing out his rubber stamp?

slick autos on there by the way :)
 
Fred Arthur is reportedly a doctor now and has concerns about having his autograph used in an inappropriate manner. That's the story I have heard a few times over the years.
 
If you want to see Fred Arthur play, buy that Gretzky DVD that came out a few years ago. He was playing for Philly in that game where Gretzky got the 50 goals in 39 games or something like that. The whole game is featured on the DVD.

Thanks for the help, guys! I added a scan of the Arthur autographed team-issue postcard in the post up top. Of course, I have nothing to which to compare it, so it can't go out into the world yet.
