Help with Registered Mail - Canada ---> Slovakia

Hi all,

Had a good eBayer (going by feedback) buy 16 cards this afternoon - value around $135-ish...so I want to protect the sale.

Usually it's about $5-$6 for multiples just by regular letter mail from Canada, but does anyone know roughly what the Registered cost would be?

i think it's the cost of postage (variable by weight, size) plus about $12.50 for registered.
last time i shipped registered to sweden it was $3.50 for the postage and then $12.50 for registered.

that sounds about right... and don't let the CP person tell you that you can't send registered - they tried that here.

They'll sometimes tell you that only packages containing "paper" can be registered, not "items". However, I've been lucky enough to get them to register all my bubble mailers. It's $12 or so on top of the cost of the stamps

Yeah, but Bob, you put them inside plastic holders, so.....

My local PO is pretty good - they ignore the holders and agree with me that the contents are paper so usually it's all good.
