Here we ask how a card of a certain set looks like

Thanks for the help. I have another question and probably have a few more in a little bit.

So my question. I know there are a couple different versions of the cards scanned below (reg. & emblem I think). How can I tell the difference? Is one the emblem of just the regular card with a nicer jersey piece? Thanks again.

It should say emblem on it. Check out this example from a similar set/year

Have a question about the different version of the jersey card in 2003/04 Titanium.

I have these on Fedorov.

2003-04 Titanium /875 #142
2003-04 Titanium Retail /170 #142
2003-04 Titanium Hobby Jersey Number Parallels /50 #142

Do there exist any other versions of that card?

Wow!
I was thumbing through the Beckett yearly book and trying to get a reference to that /155 print run (to help) and what it came out of and no such luck. It does post the /875 run and the /50 parallel. As Retail, it lists a /225 run (which might have been on the packs or advertised as such) but nothing on the other /155 run. If you didn't have it, I would not have known it existed unless I pulled one.

The collectors with collections like the above and most of the variation player sets that i have seen on this thread are some of the best resources to this hobby. Thanks for sharing!

Judging by the picture, I think the /155 is the patch card, even though it's only 1 color. It's hard to see, but it says "Patch Variation" along the top left (from this viewpoint) of the swatch window.

And that's exactly the reason why I made this thread in the first place. Very nice to see people found this so useful!

These don't exist for sure (I believe it's a listing for 2000-01 BAP Memorabilia as those three exist from that set):
1999-00 BAP Memorabilia Toronto Fall Expo Copper
1999-00 BAP Memorabilia Toronto Fall Expo Gold
1999-00 BAP Memorabilia Toronto Fall Expo Ruby
and pretty sure these neither:
2003-04 Parkhurst Original Six Detroit NHL All-Star FANtasy

These I think are for the Gold versions only:
1998-99 BAP Atlanta National 99

Some of those listed can be seen on my page:

The link will help you with all of the different 00-01 BAP memorabilia show cards as well. There are a LOT of them. (17 I think from various shows). I was mistaken thinking I had 99-00 at first, but it is 00-01 for all of the variations. whoops!

Here is the only Toronto Expo I know of for 99-00:

Also, as a side note - I think I owned the Derek King all-star game card at one point as well. If he was in a Leafs uniform, I know I did.

I have a 95-96 Collector's Choice Crash the Game Gold of Peter Forsberg.

Looking it up there are a few versions.

The three regular golds, a gold bonus and a gold prize. Anyone know the differences or have scans of all three.

Pretty sure I just have a regular though.

*Edit* Nevermind Google was my friend.

OK, with Greg Brown's fantastic Show & Tell of his 97-98 SPx Grand Finale card vs the Gold version of the card, can someone show us the variations of the 97-98 SPx cards with good scans...I, personally, what the difference is between Steel & Silver.

A side-by-side comparison, like a from a PC would be great!

Thanks.

Sauli nailed them above - here are all 5 versions side by side (plus the duoview). The Grand Finale's in hockey are not numbered out of 50 - but stated print run. They were #'d in some of the other sports (basketball for sure). The silver has the same texture as the gold (middle row left), whereas the steel version (top left is the darker/shinier grey. EDIT - the grand finale have the gold holograms (bottom right).

So top-left Steel, middle-left Silver, bottom-left Bronze, middle-right Gold, bottom-right Grand Finale? I got a bit confused between Gold and Grand Finale.

What is the difference between the 93-94 OPC Premier Black Gold and the Topps version? The only ones I have are in English so I'd like to think they are Topps. I have the Zhamnov, the Winner A redemption and the Winner A checklist/header. The redemption card doesn't mention any brand at all, other than the Topps copyright.
