Here we ask how a card of a certain set looks like

What is the difference between the 93-94 OPC Premier Black Gold and the Topps version? The only ones I have are in English so I'd like to think they are Topps. I have the Zhamnov, the Winner A redemption and the Winner A checklist/header. The redemption card doesn't mention any brand at all, other than the Topps copyright.

To continue on this one, I still have no idea if there is two versions of Finest inserts in the same set. I have like a dozen of Owen Nolan and Mats Sundin cards, they are all O-Pee-Chee versions if going by that "A-B-C-D" system.

Different photos and different set numbers (well, my Yzerman example they are different set numbers). Also, the backs of the opc version have both english and french written. And the write-ups are completely different too, again for my example.

Zhamnov does not have an OPC version. beckett lists both sets out, out of 24.

Hi,
I need some help clarifying what versions exits in the 1994-95 Stadium Club for Fedorov (or if it is the same for all players).

Here is what I have:

Regular #250
Members Only #250
Division Winner #250
Stanley Cup Winner #250
First Day Issue #250

Regular #268
Members Only #268
Stanley Cup Winner #268
First Day Issue #268

Division Winner Red Wings Super Team
Conference Winner Red Wings Super Team
Members Only Red Wings Super Team
Regular Red Wings Super Team

Adding up all the different versions:

Regular
Members Only
First Day Issue
Division Winner
Conference Winner
Stanley Cup Winner

Does all of those 6 version exist for all three cards?
Is there any more versions than the 6 I have listed?

No First Day Issues of Super Teams. But there's test proofs of Super Teams.

Never knew about these until recently, kicking myself for not owning the Morozov.

Howdy guys, picked this up off eBay and for the first time, I'm legitimately stumped as to what this card is. Back says it's numbered to 10,000 and I would imagine it's from 1993-94 or 1994-95. Any help is appreciated.

Team issue? Pinnacle was doing all that stuff in ths 90's. Could also be a special non-expo stamped promo card for Toronto Expo. Remember, 1000 was like today's 10 in the 90's.

I've got the same card. I think it's a 1994-95 Pinnacle I Hobby Samples #5 Toronto.

Here's a description of the set from Beckett

"These standard-size cards were issued in a sealed ten-card pack to preview the 1994-95 Pinnacle I regular series. They are identical to the regular issue counterparts, except that the upper right corner has been cut off, and the printing of the names on front is done in the style of Rink Collection, rather than regular, cards. The cards are numbered on the back."

And the checklist.

#1 Eric Lindros/Philadelphia
#2 Alexandre Daigle/Ottawa
#3 Mike Modano/Dallas
#4 Vincent Damphousse/Montreal
#5 Dave Andreychuk/Toronto
#6 Curtis Joseph/St. Louis
#7 Joe Juneau/Washington
#246 Marius Czerkawski/Boston
#BR1 Al Iafrate/Boston
#NNO Title Card

Hey gang;

I've got this one on my wantlist:

1989-90 North Stars ADA #18 Larry Murphy

Never even seen an example of that set. Anyone know where I might find one to know what they look like?

Thanks;
Joe Pawich

I was thinking that was what it is at first as well, but it's plainly not it. It states in the description they mirror the regular issue, except with the top right corner cut off. From my recollection, that is not what the front of the Andreychuk base card looks like, nor is the top corner removed. Still stumped :foottap:

You're right CJ. Here are some of the samples:

I'm really curious to find about the Andreychuk too. I hope the answer will come out.

Well, I've found others for sale that seem to indicated it's simple called 1993-94 Pinnacle At The Pinnacle; most sites show it for sale for about $5.00.

Still have nowhere where it came from, but it's a neat looking card.

I'm little bit confused about 2007/08 ITG Superlative Nameplates silver and gold.
According beckett there should be Gold nameplates 1/1 and Silver nameplates /9. But I'm not sure if the silver version exists. I have never seen a copy of them, only the gold 1/1 cards. Do the silver versions exist?
thanks

This should be pretty simple: 2005-06 Beehive (Rookie, if they are different) Gold vs. Normal. I'm supposed to have only normals which would make more sense, but by the different scans of Golds I found from Ebay, it looks like I have nothing but Golds (unlikely). Who would show the difference?

Golds have the same yellow border, but the headshot picture from the reds. I'll add pictures in a bit when I find mine.

OK, here's one that isn't a card but came in a box.

Today I bought a box of 01-02 Topps Reserves and in the box, you get 10 packs, a graded slabbed RC, and an autographed puck. This question is about the puck. I ended up getting a Dominik Hasek Auto'd puck w/ Detroit logo. The Signature is in gold ink.

Now, looking on Ebay, I noticed there are about 7 of these pucks, 3 being Hasek (when this posted). All of Hasek's pucks are being called "gold versions" and being priced well above the other players. The Beckett Price Guide does not have these as part of the set of cards and I guess this is up to interpretation for prices but what I am wondering is...

Is there a "silver version" of the auto'd puck or are they all "gold"?
(This cane be interpretted in 2 ways: 1-are there two inks used in Hasek's auto or just gold? 2-are there "gold versions" of the other player's autographed pucks? Either answer would be acceptable.)

Thank you.

I am attempting to get into the way-back machine in my head to remember the answer to this. I was collecting Martin Havlat at the time and he had an autographed puck in this set too - 2 versions, gold and silver. I am fairly certain that the gold version was limited to 50 copies. The silver - maybe 200 or 250? I cannot say for certain that everybody had the same breakdown - but the gold was certainly more scarce. I thought I might've had a scan handy, but I can't locate it at the moment.
