Higgins staying in Vancouver

Two years, 3.8M, 1.9 cap hit. A bit higher than I thought he'd get, but not bad if he generally plays like he did in the playoffs.

Was wondering that myself. I think Gilles might have something up his sleeve; they have 18 signed now with ony 7.9 in cap space left. I am wondering if Ballard is gone somewhere before the end of the weekend.

In the playoffs, Higgins was pretty versatile and played more than adequately wherever they put him. Nothing outstanding, just seemed comfortable anywhere.

A good signing considering Raymond and Samuelsson are sidelined until at least training camp.

Higgins can easily slot into 2nd or 3rd line wing.

Now to deal Ballard. Any takers?
