hmmm..should I start a small collection

I am mainly a hockey guy but have some interest in perhaps starting a collection involving football...because my interest is more in hockey it might be easier for me to focus on the Steelers.
I am thinking about buying a box of something and going from there as I would have nothing to offer right now except hockey.
Are there any suggestions on product...perhaps something that would be under 100.00 a box and also something that is pretty recent. Only player not with the team I might want would be Bettis...I might gear towards something non Upper deck since that is my only opition in hockey

Football wise, Donruss Classics is a good bet. Usually less than or around 100.00 and you get a good mix of rookies, current players and legends. I think autos are 1 per box, but that might have changed.

Good luck with collecting the Steelers, alot of people collect them. I agree with chiliwilly about the box to get. The other you might want to consider is Legends or buying individual items off ebay.
