Hi all,
Since we have some representative of some card companies on this forum I would like to open a discussion with all of them on the recent scandals related to upper deck that are about to hit the industry. An industry that is already shaken by the economic disaster we are going throught.
So I know we have Brian Price here involved in many "newer" style company like ITG, Famous Fabrics, Sportkings, etc..who else is here?
I would like to have your opinions on this subject :
What do you think about the past/recent illegal activities run by Upper Deck?
Is there any relation between Upper Deck and ITG or Sportkings or Panini?
We learned recently Razor Entertainment was financed by Upper Deck while they tryed to market themselves as a new company so even if Mr Price is presenting his companies has different than Upper Deck, are they really? Is it McWilliams's way to get out of the Upper Deck boat and saves his place in this lucrative market? Who knows?
With all those disrespects towards collector's intelligence, I think companies have to talk!
There's a nice opportunity for honest companies right now and I sincerly think every effort they will put forward to demonstrate their honesty and respect of their customer will be rewarded.
