Hobby Store Rolodex

So for years there used to be a store in North Van(lower Lonsdale) called Comic Scene. A couple of months ago, the owner decided he wanted to just run 1 store(Surrey location) so he could go on longer vacations. But he wasn't getting any good offers for his property. So months went by and he still had the shop. During sometime, he reached an agreement with some guy to lease the property until he finds a buyer. The guy renting has taken over and started up his own card shop. Price might be a little more but I don't think by much. Also has a variety of selection. Also has cards in display where as Comic Scene didn't.

Anyhow...

Are both Collector's Choice Sports Card and Cards Comics and Fun Stuff run by Paul both shut down?

A quick google search says both are closed. Did he leave the industry completely?

Card Shops in Toronto?

Hi All,

I am just wondering if any one can suggest any good hobby shops in Toronto?

I will be spending next week there and it will be my first time in the area. Also, any suggestions on where to find a pair of tickets to a Leafs game? Ticketmaster only sells single seats.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Additions and subtractions

Please add Outofthebox and Gamezetera in Ottawa and delete Jim’s Sportscards and E I because they went under.

A great list! I'll probably call a lot of them to search for some of my harder-to-find cards, since not everyone has website selling, ebay posts, or attend card expos.
