I know it's only preseason but it's HOCKEY. :sens:

I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm sure I was having withdrawals......its been a long time.
 
What!?!?!

I had no idea the preseason was starting already. I now have a reason to wake up in the morning:beer: No Rangers on tonight, but I can watch the devils game...... Who cares, its puck time!!!
 
I play hockey year round, so I don't miss it all that much - the thing I appreciate the most with the NHL season starting up is less baseball highlights on Sportscentre in the morning...

I have been dyeing for hockey to start.
I saw the line up for tonight on sportsnet mostly rookies but I will take it :beer:
 
Good to see the Leafs picking up right where they left off...and I hear that Jaro got sc"halak"ed last night in his Blues debut.

So should we pick The Flames and Sens for the Stanley cup finals after last night

I don't think I will read much into the leafs or Canucks after 1 preseason game when over half the lineup will not even play in the NHL this season. Ah it's good to have new hockey back, I got tired of re-watching games from last year. Good to see bantering between rival teams starting already:leafs:.

BTW RGM81 the leafs ended off last season with a win over the Habs, just thought you might need a reminder:D. Maybe Price will help them against the leafs this year.

The baby Leaf Lettuce put up 4 goals (Kessel, Caputi, Grabovski, Kulemin).

Fleishman has 2G 1A so far (I actually like this kid a lot, nice speed soft hands, I cant make fun of him at all).

I guess for some folks that's like winning a Stanley Cup - winning the last game of the season before heading off for another non-playoffs springtime.
 
You forgot to tell me how many cups the Habs have :beer: With Price in net the Habs will probably know the feeling this year.

I'm going to chalk this one up to preseason as the D was bad too... but if Price keeps playing like this... he'll be the second bust /99 Cup RC goalie...
