I know, I know....you haven’t seen me in a while and most of you probably forgot who I am. Well, as of this weekend I’ll be trying to make a bigger contribution here as hockey is finally back!
Went to the Oilers first preseason game on Friday. The first two periods weren’t all that exciting but I was happy with the end result. Was feeling the hockey bug again so checked out the local show here in Edmonton on Saturday morning and talked to Brian for a bit. Pretty slow so didn’t pick anything up there. Then I hit up West’s Sportscards and got a box of All-World and a Hemsky McFarlane (regular, still need the variant) and proceeded down the street to the flea market but didn’t find anything there either.
So decided today was about time for a mail post! Most of this stuff is from the last 2-3 weeks:
Firstly, got this from Erik (silentbrown)

Picked this Crown Royale Dual Patch up from ebay just a week ago. I think the seller is on beckett as hometeam5. I know some of you don’t think tags should be considered patches but I thought it was pretty unique as you only see 2 color wings stuff.
Here’s the new one and my other one in the set:
Now to the All-World box break. Pretty cheap so figured what the heck. Got the Hemsky base I actually still needed and definitely can’t complain about a Tretiak auto:
That’s it for now. Should be picking more stuff up in the next while so I'll try not to be a stranger.
