Sioux fans are crazy - myself included.

This is the only inscription I have seen this coming from any Sioux alum so I can see where it would drive the price north. That being said - it is still a fair chunk-o-change.
 
I was watching that one as well, very surprised at how high it went. Neat collectible for a Sioux fan though.
 
Originally from Michigan. Went to MI Tech, transferred to UND for my last year and a half, now doing my Masters at NC State (online).
 
Nice :) Amazes me how small the world is, seems I can't spit without a Sioux fan being somewhere near it :laugh:
 
I am flying back to Minot in July to hit the old stompin grounds for the summer - couple weeks on Lake Metigoshe is good for what ails ya.
 
all the patch ones are supposed to be inscribed as per UD. so there should be 24 more. Patch quality is another question though. Others might not look as nice but should still promote UND.
 
I've been a big fan of the whole "Paying homage to the junior club" thing that UD and ITG have been doing with some of the "chase" rookie cards and variants. It's a great way to kick back to the dedicated junior team fanbase.

Ya dont remind me on that one!! i was the idiot that got the card for that price!! IM SO PISSED!!

I knew i wasnt going to be home so i threw in a stupid bid at $275 when it was at 40 bucks i figured i would have it for sure.

Then someone bid like crazy to me it seemed like a shilling (spellin?) but i cant prove it :(

So i just broke the bank on that card

Has to be shill bidding. Over a 90 minute period, the same bidder made 33 incremental bids of about $5 each to drive the price up. That bidder has 47% of his bid activity with this particular seller. Not sure if there is a way to report suspicious bid activity to eBay, but I'd certainly look for a way to do so on this one.

And every card for every player in the /25 rookie set looks to have an inscription.
 
Ever since UD got caught faking inscriptions on cards (they were inscribing cards themselves), I don't trust these anymore than twisted up patch cards.
