Hossa matches jersey number with all-time career points list

First off I just wanted to say it was a great night for Marian Hossa's return to the ice with a goal and 2 assists, secondly I'd like to congratulate him on his move up the all-time points list by matching his jersey at #81, 12 points from 1000 and 41 goals from 500.. Keep up the good work and let's hit that plateau..

And he helped pretty much seal the fate of the rival Red Wings. Will they go on a run again to sneak in to the playoffs and keep the streak alive, or did the Hawks put the final nail in their coffin?

So, the question is does he have the numbers to get into the HHOF? I think if he plays a couple more years, and hits the 500 goal mark he is definitely close. The 1000 point mark is definitely gonna be reached, maybe even this year if he does well the last games of the year.

He's someone that likely won't get in 1st ballot, but IMO anyone that hits 500 goals, and 1000 points should have a spot reserved for them in Toronto. What do you guys think?
