House broke into.. high end collection stolen

Hello everyone. My house got broke into yesterday in cayuga, Ontario. Lots of stuff got stolen including my best cards.
Really sucks......
Hope everyone can keep a eye out. Still trying to figure everything that got taken. But I got a lot of pics of the cards.
Here's a little list of what I know is gone...

Ovechkin sp authentic auto rc #822/999 BGS 9.5
Ovechkin ultimate collection auto rc #134/299 BGS 9.5
McDavid black diamond quad diamond rc #32/99 BGS 9
gaudreau cup auto patch rc #11/99 BGS 9.5
2005/06 ultimate collection rookie auto patch /25 whole set all 2clr plus, crosby.. ovechkin.. this set was my baby :(
11/12 sp authentic gretzky/gretzky dual auto BGS 9.5

McDavid spx auto Jersey rc /399 BGS 9.5 # 0009925919

If some member can post this on another forum, would be appreciated. Not a member anywhere else.

Lots of the stuff is serialed # and I got most graded my self.

We will keep an eye out at the store for someone dumping a collection.. I would scan Kijiji as well.

That is unreal Ron. So sorry to hear that.

Hope they can catch the idiot(s).

Terrible to read this, coming from someone who had a bunch of cards stolen years ago, went through the proper channels to try to get them back (police reports, statements, etc) it hurts to admit that you will probably never get your cards back.

What I can tell you tough is that the hurt will fade, it will just take time.

I really do hope you get them back, and the people who took them get hit wrecked.
 
So sorry to hear this. I really hope you get them back and those involved are brought to justice. Very frustrating and disappointing that people would do this to you.

Of course, I will keep my eyes out for whatever you have listed and encourage others to do so too.
 
So sorry to hear!!! It is tough wanting to keep cards at home for this very reason. Having them sit in the safety deposit box at a bank is sad, but a practical reality.

Hope these guys get what they deserve. As an 05-06 fanatic, I especially feel for you.
 
Ron reach out to breakawaysc cloutsnchara m and l sports and cracker Jack stadium and perhaps you can get a hold of the Hamilton card show group as well
 
I’m sincerely sorry to here this and I can’t imagine the grief you are dealing with, as those were all premier cards.
I will keep my eyes open the best I can, but with that said, I am confident these will turn up shortly on some sales site. And when they do, follow the paper trail and get some satisfaction.

In the meantime, be sure to post this on the many Facebook message board trading sites, as that actually might be the best resource at the moment. That and check with the stores as mentioned before.

As for for the thief’s, I hope they make a mistake and drive into incoming traffic !

Hopefully these turn up, you do have an army keeping their eyes open for you. :stare:
