10-15k, I used to probably have over 20k, but I gave a whole bunch to my wife's class and her co-worker, but as most of you who have wives, I hear the "its too many" line

I have approx. 80,000 cards in my "room". My PC consists of the following:
Montreal base cards: 4,929
Montreal Inserts: 679
Montreal Parallels: 797
Montreal Autos: 229
Montreal game-used: 364
McDonald's: 1,192
Completed base sets: 13,676
Completed Insert Sets: 2,543
Vintage cards: 3,088
Total PC: 27,497
Then I have my shelf of traders: 8,224 of assorted inserts, parallels, autos, game-used, rookies and base.
The rest are "junk" commons.

Okay, okay!! I should have put a disclaimer in there somewhere. I took those numbers from my Beckett database this morning. There could be an error or two in there.

Haha, no but seriously, that is well done. I love statistics and play around Excel all the time. Beckett database just gets painful when trying to upload the pages in My Organize and I don't have the patience for the system.

I used to have a database on my home computer. I made the mistake of not continuing to update it when I added everything to Beckett. It was very tedious at first to enter everything but it got easier over time. Now the bugs are a constant annoyance but it is great for trading. If I could do it over again I would have kept my personal database up-to-date for sure.

I reckon I have in the region of 2000 cards, probably 1000 enforcer cards with the rest just random traders.

That is a tough one...
For sure, I know I have a little more than 2550 Quebec Nordiques cards (bases included) in my PC.
I also have 3000 more cards form my other collections (Habs, HofF, RC and Moncton and Bahutrst QMJHL clubs alumnis). Only 2 or 3 % or those are bases.
Add around 600 ITG H&P and Between the Pipes to that (90 % being bases).
I keep a complete databases of every and single one of those cards.
Here is the detail (as March 30th):
6364 cards, of wich:
1417 RC
208 Autos
339 GU
1028 Parallels
773 Inserts
Total BV: a little bit over 30 K.

I also have cards for wich I don't keep a database. There are four 3200 boxes full of 80's and 90's sets and three 3200 boxes full of traders.
So, I guess this put us at around... 30 000 cards.

mine used to be way higher, I've cut down to less then 100 cards for sure.

I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 50k - 100k, counting boxes and boxes af commons, inserts etc. Cards I cant part with is more in the 500 to 1000 range.
Like some others here, my wife thinks it is 50 - 100k too many!

voted 5-10K...don't really know but collected more in the 90's when the packs were fat and didn't cost too much. I have a few 800 ct boxes from just the last few years, so that's an accurate account or a decent one. I've also been buying more boxes than loose packs.

I'm definately at the 100k + mark as well. I've been at this level for at least the past 10-12 years, and that even counts the fact that I've moved 250k+ cards during that period. So if I never got rid of extra cards, I'd likely be over 1 million by now.
