How long before Enshrined price point drops?

I'm collecting some fairly limited stuff from Enshrined but I have noticed that lately (actually, for the last 2 months or so) the stuff is BONE dry.

I've exhausted all searches (I've even been googling things to see if it leads me to some random blog, etc) but it just appears to be the same old stuff since May.

I'd guess that Enshrined has been cracked at about 25% of capacity... there must be a ton out there on shelves and in warehouses.

So my question- this stuff will continue to sit on shelves at $100+... how much cheaper does it have to go before people start opening it? AND when can we expect the price point to start dropping? 1 month? 6 months? a year?

I selfishly want the price to drop like a stone so more starts poppin' up on ebay :D
 
Ern, I didn't bust any of this...are there redemption points in the packs? If not, I don't see the price point as drastically as say, Between the Pipes or H&P. I see it flatlining around 60 or 70 a pack to be honest if it does drop. I don't see this becoming a $40 or $50 a pack type of thing...that puts it into Luxury Suite territory, and this product packs a better punch (on average) than Luxury Suite.
 
We must be doing all the same searches Ern cuz nothing is coming up for me either from my Large wantlist.

The price point would be awesome at about $50/pack... As the average silver auto pack will net ya about $20, and even most memorabilia hits not earning much more than that. Unfortunately this stuff will likely just rot on the shelves rather than dropping that drastically. My guess is that it drops to no less than $80 a pack when 11/12 products start coming out... And hopefully that will be enough for people to open it up

I have opened a box of each product all year (all brands). This was BY FAR the worst value of all boxes opened. I pulled about $100 value of cards in a $450 box. Lucky I don't sell, because I would have lost my @ss.

Box breakers will probably stay clear of this unless it drops significantly.

Everyone has their own opinion, but I vote this product the worst break of the year from a box breaker's perspective.
 
Oh there's no doubt that as it stands, this is currently the worst value break out there... Maybe of all time. But like Dave says at around $50 a pack it's a lot more digestible. It would start to be opened at that price. But like Matt says it probably never gets that low... If we could see it at $65 a pack it might start to move.

Either way, this stuff is rotting for a while which is a shame.

Dave, pm me what your looking for... We may be looking for the same things!
 
I guess what I'm asking is, when do stores say 'ah what the hell, get it out of here... $70 a pack'. Does 1 big retailer have to take the plunge and the rest follow?
 
It wont drop for a good while. Ive only seen 2 producys drop in the last year and a bit and neither dropped that drastically. It was not a very good break but distributors are still charging me enough that id have to sell it around 600 a box.
 
ITG products rarely drop or rise for that matter. A product like Enshrined would be limited at most retailers and distributors so no real urgency to drop the price. It will more than likely just slowly sell.

Yeah, that's what concerns me. Having this stuff rot and be picked at extremely slowly won't help those of us building sets from it.
 
i hope it drops. i have 18 cuts, 15 gold autos, and i'm 10 cards away from the master set of all memorabilia /9...i'll loose my mind if the last 10 never pop up!!! i haven't grabbed any i need for my set for over a month now, i busted 2 cases and (20 boxes) and i'm aware of how much i lost on busting, but if your doing sets its not too too bad lol. 60$ range would be good, theres still a big chunk of monster pulls waiting to be found, with the cut list, mega memorabilia and emblem attics, i wouldn't see it dropping to under 50$ a pack..and if it does, count me in for another 2 cases lol
 
what do you guys need from Enshrined... I have some stuff that I have not yet listed.
 
I don't want to be too defensive here because this is my product and I have to take responsibility for the good ones and the bad ones. But I don't understand this post

I'm confused, the product never sold for $450. Like I said, when your the create these products you have stand behind them and I do.

Hard signed autographs, premium, limited base cards, extremely limited memorabilia and all of Hall Of Famers. I would have thought the product would have been received better.

This set is my favorite of the year thus far Brian (and I don't think anyone was criticizing the product itself- just the value per break) It's just too bad that many of the great Pieces wont see the light of day because unfortunately the value per pack/box isnt there for box/case breakers. Hard when you have to try and recoup the money from one real hit, I maybe woulda scraped the base cards all together and lowered the msrp. (but im sure others would disagree)

I never considered not doing the base card set. It was important to me to have base cards available for many of the Hall of Famers so that collectors would have a chance to put the base card set together.

Many of the collectors who pulled the great memorabilia hits have simply put them into their collections.

I know that this might not be popular but we have to consider both collectors and pack breakers when designing and pricing products. One think that must be considered is the cost of Hall of Fame memorabilia and Fall of Fame signatures.

Not offering excuses, just explanations.

Producing this product was not easy. I hope the price doesn't drop and eventually goes up.

Just my wish.

I did pay $425 to $450 (don't remember exactly) for my box. Retail price.

I just felt really bad after I opened it. Like someone knocked the wind out of me. Not saying it is a terrible product.......one box is a very small sample size obviously. But I felt for spending that much money I would have gotten more than a one color jersey and 4 silver autos. I felt it was a bad break compared to all other boxes I touched all year and their price point. I guess I was expecting more based on the sell sheet images. That is all I was saying.
 
Cubbie1908, not here to argue with you but there is no way you paid that much for a box. There was not one memorabilia card and four autographs in a box. That was not the configuration.

You are entitled to your opinion on the product, no problem but that was not the price nor the configuration of Enshrined.

Sounds more like a five box case which meant you paid $90 per box not $450 for a box.

Again, not here to argue but to inform.
