Ok, I had an item for sale. Lets say for $100. Plus the cost of shipping with tracking. A person contacts
me and said he would like to buy said item.He made an offer that was low so I stuck too my guns and said
I could not except his offer.Within 24 hours he replies and says, OK I will take it for your asking price. So I
said great and sent along the total owed Item + postage = Total. I also sent along my pay pal information
because that is how he wanted to pay. This was over a week ago. So,will I be pushing the buyer if I
request an update on his purchase of my item. I am more then willing to wait longer but I would think
he should contact me looking for more time. And I also have to think that maybe some real life
happenings got in the way of sport card purchase. I just do not want it come across like I am someone
that is a pushy seller. What do you guys think.

Winston, I would message this person one more time.. just to keep communication
with them.. Asking if they are still wanting the card.. if not just tell them to let ya know
either way.. if not reply.. just move on. like Frankie said.

I had a said Banned member from HI.. Message me about a card I had, because
i posted for sale or trade.. I get a message from them..we went back and forth with
a price. and we agreed upon it. I sent a message with all my PP info and total. etc.
and tumble weeds or and a ghost flying around.. month in a half goes by.
So, I post up the card on ebay.. He made an offer and i just ignored it... and they messaged me on FB about the card saying they made the offer.

I flat out told them.. and I ""
im going to keep it straight with you
I wasnt going to reply to you. Months ago
we had a deal for that card. i sent you my info
and you ghosted me. if you want that card.
i will take this amount here is my paypal address
and lets face it.. you dont have a good rep in the hobby world.
if you want it. I will pull it from ebay.. I'm not playing games.

They gave me a lengthy story as to why they didnt contact me again.
and they they wanted the card.. and if i could wait until Friday. i believe this
conversation was on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

just a jist of the last conversation on my end..
i told them
but its not whoa is me.. because i see the cards you bring in on damn near a weekly basis, More than my budget, if I'm being honest. I will wait until friday..I'm a reasonable person. But if nothing.. I'm done. Like you said .. no hard feelings.

I'm done with dead beat people in this hobby..
ok hopped off the soapbox. lol

but at the end.. I got what I wanted for the card.

Sorry for the chapter story.

Billie

I did reach out to the person tonight.Just ask him to at least LMK if he has moved on.But no
response to that message either. So I will wait until tomorrow evening and see if he replies.Thanks.

I don't understand why people like this exist. If someone is interested in something you will stay in contact with that person until that item is in your posession. You say thank you and have a nice day and that's it. How is this so difficult? It was most likely a flipper looking to cash in and when they realized the card wasn't worth as much as they thought, they moved on. Sorry you had to deal with this dead beat!

I'd just say this "hey, just following up to see if you still wanted to purchase the card, let me know, no worries if youve changed your mind!"
