I've got three on the go - not much I know, but I hate sitting on cards that may or may never be signed.

I'm waiting on:

3/7/2009 TOMAS KABERLE 2008-09 ARTIFACTS HOCKEY AUTO-FACTS
3/3/2009 NATHAN HORTON 2008-09 SP GAME-USED HOCKEY LETTER MARKS
12/12/2008 BRIAN SUTTER 2008-09 LEGENDS MASTERPIECE HOCKEY MASTERPIECE BRUSHSTROKES-BROWN BORDER

Anyone know how these guys are as signers? I actually sent a quick note to Upper Deck requesting ANYTHING to replace them, but because they are low value cards, I'm being ignored.

Well, I waited for over a year on a Gorges but I know it won't be made because UD doesn't have a signing deal in place. I've seen Horton in a number of products so he's likely just a matter of time, don't know about Kaberle or Sutter though.

Yeah I have this same one been waiting a while sense I grabbed it off ebay

Don't hold your breath. I have been waiting over a month to get replies to repeated emails :mad: Also been waiting over 3 months to get a damage replacement that they said they mailed :mad: Plus waiting 3 months to even get a response on the card in question:mad::mad::curse::curse::curse:
GOOD LUCK

How long is too long to wait for a redemption? I see some people are waiting YEARS!! This is absurd. There should be a time limit. Something like 90 days. If after 90 days from the time you redeem, if the redemption is still unavailable, you should be given the option to continue to wait or being given a refund from the card mfg for high end BV. Something like this should be put in place to protect the consumer.

I also wonder if there is a legal issue here when the card mfg cannot fulfill the redemption. Could it possibly be fraud? Do know too much about the law in this case.

It wouldn't be fraud, as fraud implies that UD produced the card's redemption sticker despite knowing in advance that the player simply would not sign. If they were to put Ovechkin auto redemption cards into The Cup right now, that would be fraudulent. If they put redemptions for Carey Price, who is under contract, but Carey decides he's done enough for the last year-plus and wants to take a few months off, it's not knowingly and willfully deceiving collectors to put the cards in the pack-out.
