Wow that is one amazing collection. I must have gone through those pictures five times. That was one of the coolest auctions I've seen in a long time. Who cares about the price, look at the cards we got to see! Didn't have to pay for that :)

Strangely enough no Cup, Ultimate or SPA RC, which I would guess are the 3 most desireable Sid rooks out there.

Unless of course she's just keeping them

Thats what I was thinking - If you're going to offer up a $120,000 OBO lot of Crosby, there better be at least one really nice CUP Rc in there. Preferably a few, with a couple of Gold's for good measure. She'd be better of selling individually IMO.

This is probably one of those "look at the cards I have" auctions. No intention of really selling, but some moron may hit the BIN then she'd be happy.

I like how so many of them are undervalued. Take the seller's word at it!

Now, now Joe, you know they could have asked $150K.;)

Great group of cards, but I agree that there needs to be at least some SPA, Ultimate and/or The Cup rookies in there and then some to justify that coin. Especially since he is still Cupless.

So okay, how does a scratched off redemption card get a 9.5 grade? It had to be defaced/altered when they scrached it to get the redemption code...

So why didn't Crosby have an inspiration for that set?

In the contract Crosby signed with UD, I heard that there was a stipulation that he not be on ANY multi auto/card. I guess he felt that anyone else's graph is not worthy to be on the same card as his... not even the Great One or the man who took him into his home, Mr. Lemieux...

It wasn't him, it was his dad who didn't want Sid on any multi-auto cards.

Here's to hoping he's not blocking any shots Thoresen-style ;)

So Wayne Gretzky is not "the great one" anymore? Because he has a dual auto with Gretzky.
