A Paul Kariya game-used jersey, with the captain "C", from 02-03?

It has the Meigray tag and the LOA.

How much would be a plausible selling price? I really don't know much about gamers...

Thanks for your help!

The answer here is always "as much as someone is willing to pay"... but, dependant on wear, obviously having the Meigray docs help, Captains "C", I reckon the $1250-$1500 range.

That is definitely a reasonable number. Anything under $1000 is too low, and over $2000 is pushing it.

Having said that, the price also depends on the use. Was it a set 1 used in the early part of the reglar season or a set 3 that was likely used in the playoffs?

It's a set 1 from the 2002-2003 season. There's some decent wear (stick/puck marks, board burns).

What one are you looking at ?
There is one on eBay and one on meigray.com, the one on meigray is 1195 and is on consignment so you can make an offer on it as well

I was looking at the eBay one... The one at 5500$ on MeiGray has been there forever, but I didn't see the other one. Thanks for pointing it out!

see, i disagree, i think 1000 is a good price for it. IMO..

maybe a little more just because those jerseys are no longer in the game, but i will compair it to a Markus Naslund jersey, Naslund had a better career in my opinion, and you can find jerseys for him around 900.

this is all my opinion..

I think anywhere from $1000-$1500 if it were on auction is what it would go for. If it were some milestone game it may garner the high end of that scale but if not I'd say in the $1000 range. Who knows though, you get fans fighting on an auction it could end up like Darren McCarty gamers which the last few auctions have went in the $1800-$3000 range!!

If you go look at the Classic Auction Kariya history... A white went for 1600 and two rare style alt's went for 1100 and 1300.. Id say you have a $1500 jersey if you find the right buyer, but alas thats the key.

Meigray reaches a broader audience and people trust Meigray more than a seller on ebay.. thus they can ask/consign for what they feel the market will fetch.

Agreed. I'd say 1500 is a good number to start at. if selling push for 1600-1700 and if buying try to snag it for 1200-1300. All about finding the right buyer as a seller and finding a motivated negotaibale seller as a buyer. Good luck!!
