How to do Checklists ?

Hey there,

I need your help ! I have 5 players PC's. I want to do checklists of all the cards that they have. I'm almost done with my list of Halak but that's because he only has 190 and about 40-45 maybe more The Cup Printing Plates and i'm not listing them.

I have to write them 1 by 1 and it's fricking long !! I see guys that has like 2-3-4 checklists of 2000+ cards. If you guys typed them 1 by 1 you really have A LOT of free time loll !! I tried copy/paste from beckett list, it doesn't work.

Is there a way to do a good checklist without typing the cards 1 by 1 ?

I would really appreciate some help with this, a tip, something. Sakic has almost 4000 cards, Datsyuk like 1700 i think, Hejduk has a lot too.

How do you guys do ?

I asked nicely, and within a day I had a huge list of cards (it appears VERY well done). Perhaps he has a few more lists kicking around. Good luck.

Simple answer is it takes time. But as soon as you catch up with each player it takes less and less time. Good Luck whatever method you go with.
 
If you need a Hejduk one, I will give you the link to mine, its pretty well maintained and I had to add a lot of cards that the other site missed. I used their checklist as a foundation and built it from there.

I will describe the way I do:

from beckett: search the player you want, then "Download xyz-players checklist" as .pdf-file

Next step: http://www.cometdocs.com/index.htm
here you can convert (for free!) your .pdf to (f.e.) an excel-sheet.
This excel-sheet you can modify however you want very easily.

It may sounds difficult, but it isn´t!

To notice: with this beckett-checklists you don´t have all cards of the player, but 95 % in my experience. The rest you have to add 1 to 1.
 
How I did mine was copy and paste the whole checklist from the other site and paste it into a note pad, I had to delete and reorganize everything but it worked. Enjoy your Hejduk checklist, I spent many work hours working on it

That´s the way I did it earlier...hard work!

I tried it with the Pavel Datsyuk Beckett checklist and your site is amazing !! It sent me an excel file of the PDF in my email. Now i have a full checklist in excel format that i can modify !! So awesome and it's gonna save me A LOT of time !!

I just have to edit some things and put it the way i want and that's it !
