Hey gang,

I'm watching my McFarlane collection grow layers of dust in my office, and thought I should try and sell all my non-variants in a lot, and think about selling my variants online somehow.

For those of you who have shipped them before, how the heck would you ship one of these without damaging the package outright? Are there McFarlane cubes, for example, that hold these figures in place (and can fit goalies as well?)

My entire collection is pre-2008 packaging (the way I see them now with on the black cards,) with one or two of the really old ones.

hi Matt, yes you can buy these Mcfarlane "cubes", a protective packaging of sorts. I bought these off my dealer, they sell for a buck a piece (maybe $1.50 each)? They also have bigger ones that fit goalies, they cost a bit more though ($2 each).

Failing that, wrap them up in packing paper to insulate them from being rattled around the sides of the box and they should be all right. I've shipped a few in-package action figures in my day and never had any problems.

I sold a bunch of my variants last year and never go a complaint on my packaging. I wrapped each one in a plastic bag and then put it in a box surrounded by crumpled up newspaper and packing peanuts.
