How will the Isles make up the 10 million needed to make it up to the salary floor? There are not many names out there that will garner even a couple of million. McCabe, etc just won't cut it.
 
They don't have to . There is no punishment if they don't because they are not allowed to receive any revenue sharing money anyways.

theirs still Stamkos and Doughty. Grabbing one of them will put a nice dent in that.

I think they can be below the cap floor but they will have to pay a fine....I think. They could always eat up some contracts from other teams in exchange for draft picks, the Leafs and other teams have done it before.

My understanding is that if you are beneath the cap floor then you don't participate in revenue sharing.

Big deal. They are $10M below. If revenue sharing only gives them $5M then why go out there, and wastefully spend $10 just to get the revenue sharing and bring back $5M?

They will be fine.
