As most of you know I'm a big Iginla collector, but aside from that, I enjoy chipping away at a few other player collections. Mikael Backlund has been one of my favourite Flames for a while now, and it's a bonus that I don't have to break the bank to acquire some nice cards of his. I managed to acquire a huge cornerstone piece to the Backlund collection today, so I decided it would be fun to show off a few more of my favourite cards from the PC. So here we go!

Ice Premieres RC /99. Surprised to see him make the /99 cut. Pulled this one in today, finally the price was right!
NT Past, Present, Future with Monahan and Niewendyk. Really like this design!
Prime Genuine Marks 8/8. I was so surprised to see so many high end cards of Backlund in this product. Nicely done Panini!

5. Cup Draft Boards Auto. These are such cool cards, something different from your everyday memorabilia
4. Ice Premieres Rookie Auto Patch /10
3. Prime Colors Shoulder Patch from the Alberta flag. So many crazy breaks and colors!
2. As you already know, I'm big on collecting jersey #'d cards. Backlund wore 60 in his rookie year, and then changed to 11 after. UD Young Guns Exclusives 60/100 !!!!
And here's the reason for the S&T! Just picked up this one off of eBay today!
The Cup Dual Auto Shield Mikael Backlund & Viktor Stalberg !!!!!
Don't care much for the Stalberg side lol, but nonetheless, pretty thrilled to have an Auto Shield in my Backlund PC!!!
