Yeah... and they also decided to reduce the price of all tickets, across the board - all seats, all arenas, to thank the fans for coming back...

You know that's not even funny if it's a april fools joke...People are already po'd about the whole thing...I guess I have no sense of humor about the debacle!! :)
 
take a closer look at the URL when it opens up. That will tell you if it's a joke or not.
 
Not suprised it is a joke since NHL.com, ESPN, other online sources reported nothing....also no link from the real tsn.ca/nhl site....

they did the same thing on the radio this morning here in Windsor. Saying they are back and will play 14 games and then the playoffs. Kinda wondered with what day it is. Just a pretty good joke to play on us diehard hockey fans.

Hmmm...yeah sticking with the 50% chance the NHL as it stands folds sometime after the coming season, particularly with no CBA and 'replacement' players... :(

Well done, you had me confused for a bit, I can't say fooled entirely since it sounded fishy from the start with the 43 million dollar cap, you got a little greedy on that one. :)

38 million I would have bought, 43 just sounded to high to be anything less than April Fools.
