Over the last few weeks and especially the last few days, I have been debating selling off almost all of my 10-11 Limited Logos collection. It was painful because I was so close to completing it, with most of the big cards out of the way with the big exception of Gretzky. Money wasn't the issue though. I reevaluated what my collection was and where it was going and I decided that the Limited Logos set wasn't something that I was going to enjoy down the road. I made the decision tonight to list everything in my set with the exception of the Lemieux, Messier, and Sakic cards. I wasn't sure how I would feel once everything was listed, but right now it feels great. I've only embarked on three real projects since returning to collecting, and this is the first I've abandoned. The other two are ones that I can see myself enjoying for years down the road. So if you're out there thinking you could never part with your collections, it can be done, even outside of financial reasons and you won't die as a result!

That's a good part about collecting...putting a set together or building up a collection, enjoying it for awhile, and eventually selling it for someone else to enjoy.

BINGO! I tend to flip some of my collections every 3 - 6 months to help fund the next project that I decide to take on. Keeps the hobby interest going.

I've cut some PC's. I got rid of these PC's or projects
-Bobby Hull
-Tony Esposito
-Skate Lace
-SPA FW auto set 10/11 & 11/12
-HOH art cards

By getting rid of those i've been able to concentrate on my
-Vinatge Mem PC
-11/12 ITG Ult Hall of Famer Auto set

and my new project a complete 1965/66 Topps set PSA 8 or better

It was hard letting some cards go but if i didn't sell them on here I did what you did and just listed them 0.99 starting bid and let em go.

There's a lot of LL collectors out there I'm sure you'll do very well with some of those auctions!!

I've done the same a few times. I went from one of the bigger Spezza collectors to selling each and every card in my collection. I just sold off some of the big fish of my Lindros collection and now I'm looking at cutting off my Rocket Ismail collection, leaving me with my Blue Jays and my Jose Cruz collection.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm heading towards selling EVERYTHING...I've certainly curtailed my box and case purchases and my buying has been limited to stuff from the early 90s (which can be had for pennies on the dollar), but as Bill said, I've sold what I didn't think I'd be able to part with and I'm still alive.
