You guys notice Bob Gainey is missing the point of the blank signing area in this year's Habs Centennial set?

That's not too bad I guess...then you see this gem:

Just thought I'd share something that made me chuckle this early afternoon.

As bad as Gainey was in missing the margins, it still doesn't beat the king of non-UD conformity...

yea i did see one of those gaineys ... thought he would catch on after a while .... but i guessed wrong ....

Wow, talk about not giving a crap.

WHAT???????? HE choose to sign in a slightly different but gives a crisp bold..every single frickin letter auto and people piss on him!!!

WOW!!! think you got it wrong. if he didn't give a crap he would sign 2 squiggley lines and take 1 second vs. 5 seconds.

my 2 cents:)

gotta agree with you there. while Bob may not be the best coach (;)) he's pretty good with fans and autographs, he once stopped during an interview to sign a baseball cap for me, now you don't see that often. and his auto while slanted is sharp and consistently every single letter, unlike 99% of players today.

The sig may be crisp, but to just blatantly "miss" that area on every card is a bit of a joke. He'd have to be stupid or completely oblivious to not notice doing that.

perhaps its the way he signs things, I've known other people who write on a slant, and often have to have the paper turned at an angle so that their writing appears straight. just a thought.

And that may be the case, but he's being PAID to sign his name. You'd think he'd at least try to get it in the right spot.

...which he has done. If he signs it slanted, straight, whatever - he signed it. Jesus, no wonder he didnt sign for anyone for a long time - look at all the grief he gets. At least you can read the guys name.

You guys are completely off point if you think chadsexington is actually serious about this.

He is just saying it humoured him, not bashing him at all. Yowza

I don't think the comments were directed towards me Gordon...moreso the folks who were agitated by the auto off the spot.

Realistically though, the dual auto was pretty bad...you guys have to admit that much.
