Whoever thought of these....should be fired.

If you are gonna have the players sign the stickers to place on the cards at a later time, why not do it the regular way by bringing the cards to the players to be signed. I just dont understand why the sticker has begun to take over. I do not like the look, the purpose or anything else about it!

The only advantage to sticker autos is to avoid the garbage signatures. I'm sure there are some signatures directly on the card that a player wished he could re-do but can't so if he screwed up on the stickers, the bad ones would be taken out. Just a thought.

I like the auto on the card but its better for like well say topps albert pujold signs 500 stickers well you can used them now and later. So you don't have him coming back every 2 months to sign 25 cards and Plunge is right.

Thanks
Jacob.

I don't think anyone really likes it.

It prioritizes the card company over its customers.

Yeah it's all about what the company wants, not the people who buy it, which there is a huge irony to that....but we can't do nothing about it!

Well, "we" could just not buy sticker autos and products that include sticker autos... of course, it would be severely limiting in terms of product choices, but there are generally a few releases that have all autographs on-card. If enough people rewarded the distribution of those products by choosing them exclusively or at least focusing on those products over those with band-aid autos, the companies would hopefully take notice. To an extent, they have already; most of the sets that have only on-card autographs are marketed as such.

Just an FYI: all etopps autographs whether from etopps or third-party companies who get etopps cards signed are ALL signed on the card.

I presume the thinking behind this is a sticker would take away from the integrity of the card. Too bad this isn't the case with other card company products.
