For those of you who wonder why people wait til the last second to bid on ebay, look at this. This seller had a number of items up that I needed for sets for myself and for a friend. Last night I bid on these, unsure if I would wake up early enough this morning. Take a look at the under bidder on this items in the order I list them and look at the feedback of this under bidder.

Now, you'll notice on the first one, the bidder went in small increments until $4.01 where my max of $5.00 would have shown. Does he outbid me? No, he bids $5. To me it seems like the shiller was trying to scare me into bidding more, which I never. However, does he come back at the end of the auction to expend the extra $0.50 to win? No. You'll notice on all the other auctions, he takes me to $5.00 as well. Now, if you look at his feedback, over 1200 of which 137 are from different ebay users and probably close to 1000 are from the seller of these items. This is why you don't bid on items too early, because of the possibility of getting shilled like this. Not a pleasant start to the weekend.

I just finished a bunch of auctions and it appeared that the same thing happend to a guy that was bidding on my auctions. I later found out that he and this other guy are going after the same set and they have been battling for some time. I think they do it to each other on purpose as it can get frustrating seeing the same name bidding on everything that you bid on. Hey it worked out for me in the end, boosted up about 20 of my auctions!! I love those set collectors...This one was alot worse than what happend to you, he did it to every auction right up to the cent, I was nervous at first because I thought they would think it was me doing it, in the end this happens alot more than we see and hear...Just bad when it happens to you
