I guess crazier things have happened....I understand if #58 went for that much.....I've bought several of letang exclusives....didn't get this one though....under estimated my snipe by a little more than 20.00.

I wouldn't think you hoarding it led to that price. This is just one of those weird things that defies logic. It could be something like two people who only collect cards numbered 99, who knows.

As someone who has a few hoards going on, people have definitely tried to 'gouge' me on the cards if they know I am hoarding them. But I can tell you from experience, none of them has ever asked me for anything anywhere near this amount. They've inflated the price thinking I'll bite, but none has ever wanted about 10 times the going rate.

This one's definitely a head-scratcher.

I've been paying 8-12.00 for the letang I believe.....im sure i have more than 10 copies.....but i am not bent on any serial number....I think I have /58 already....that's good enough.
