You can see in his auction that the bottom left corner is chipped...probably where he inserted the fake patch!!

Dean - sad thing is that I've seen the other altered Ovechkin #/99 and I've HELD it in my hands at the Nationals in Cleveland. Saddest part is that you cannot tell it's been altered. The guys that do this are unreal. I hope there is additional certification or something for cards in the VERY near future.

You know - I think I might have to collect solid one color patches to KNOW they are real,... :dead:
