...and you would like to sell them on eBay but don't want to do it yourself, I am a Slab Sharks Consignment Director and can help you out.

Whether you live in Canada or the States, whether your cards are slabbed or raw, sports or non-sports, if you consign to Slab Sharks through me your first time, I will be your point of contact, can provide advice and will help promote your cards on my platforms. Using me does not cost you anything extra, I will earn a small commission from the standard fees charged.

Slab Sharks runs auctions from Thursday to Thursday each week. Buyers are given until the next Tuesday to pay and you the consignor are paid on the Wednesday via Paypal or email transfer. The system is very slick and efficient.

You will also get to watch your items on the Slab Sharks app and will see when they are paid etc. Oh, and on the Thursday morning, you will be able to go into your scheduled listing and request and title revisions you want to see.

Reach out to me here or email me at [email protected], we can set up a zoom call and go from there.

what about shipping costs?

You pay to send them to Slab Sharks, or you can drop off to the head office or to me in Calgary and I will ship them for you.

Shipping is paid by the buyer of the cards as usual on eBay.

Going to give this a go in the next few weeks, Jeremy! Don't have tons of stuff but a couple of nice singles including Shane Wright Ice Premieres Patch auto /10 and an exclusives /100 Renewed Crosby YG....These should sell decent on ebay! I'll let you know when I ship them!

Awesome Steve, thank you! I'll watch for the cards to hit the portal!

I gave this a go late last year for the first time and was thrilled with how smooth the process was.

I was fortunate to be able to drop the cards off with Jeremy at a local card show. No joke, but it literally was as simple as that. I did nothing else (ok….I requested one of the photos be modified and Slab Sharks were right on it).

Was paid promptly at the end of it all. Very convenient. Have since dropped off a second batch for sale.

Definitely a selling option to consider. Give it a look.

Jeremy ,does the seller get to set in guidelines.Or is everything a true auction.
Start the card at $.99 and let the chips fall where they may.

I have a ton of stuff I'd like to move - will look into this tomorrow. Thanks!

Feel free to email me directly and we can set up a zoom call and I’ll answer all your questions and try to make it as smooth as possible for you!

Correct. Only auctions and all start at $0.99. Also, important to note, only single cards and complete sets. No lot sales. We will sell memorabilia (there’s an extra handling fee of $3-$5) and we also sell graded comic books and a few other misc things.

Again, everyone is welcome to reach out to me at: [email protected] or DM me here.

So glad you enjoyed the service Brett and that I could be part of your ever changing collection!

I will jump in and share my positive experience. I decided it was time to move on from the majority of my collection so I reached out to Jeremy as I knew he was affiliated with Slab Sharks.

Jeremy took the time to reach out to make sure my decision was thought out and explained the process to me. He even took time to call me regarding a follow up question while he was on vacation with his family (that's dedication).

I am lucky enough to live within striking distance of their office so instead of shipping my cards I was able to drop them off and eliminate the worry that sometimes comes with shipping. Once dropped off, the cards were processed and listed that Thursday. They were extremely responsive to my questions and revision requests.

Jeremy has been in constant contact and even promoted some cards on his socials to get extra eyes.

Just got my payment this afternoon. Can't speak highly enough of the company and Jeremy.

I have used Slab Sharks twice and both times I was extremely pleased with how everything went. Karn and his people have this thing running like a well oiled machine.

Word to the wise: Don't send cards that comp at $50 or less unless you have tons of them and don't mind eating the extra fees on those cards (80% AND -$3 per). If you send a $3 card, you lose 80% to fees and also lose $3, which is full value of the card. It eats into your overall profits but may be worth it to clear room if that's what you're looking to do.

Wait - just so I understand, in the table above with payout ratios, who keeps e.g., 90% vs. 10% for 10K plus cards? I'd thought that I'd keep 90% and SlabSharks takes 10% and for the <$50 cards, I keep 80% - $3 and Slabsharks takes 20% + $3. Is that not right?

That's right.

Card sells for $100 on eBay, you get $80

Card sells for $49.99, you get $37

Card sells for $40, you get $29

Card sells for $20, you get $13

Card sells for $10, you get $5

Card sells for $5, you get $1

Card ssells for $3.75, you get $0 ($3.75 is the breakeven amount)

Card sells for $1, you owe Slab Sharks $2.20.

As there is obviously labor involved for each card submitted, Slab Sharks has to make some money on every listing. So as Triple B said, be careful selling cards worth less than say $20-$30 (that's the threshold I discuss with most people). Definitely do not send in cards that will only get the minimum $0.99 bid!

Personally, I will sell cards as low as $10 because I don't really have an outlet to sell them otherwise (my card show real estate is worth more than laying out $5 cards) and generally just to get whatever I can for them with zero work.

Perhaps COMC is a better option for those lower than say $30. COMC is great for those cards especially if you aren't in a rush to convert them to cash.

Let me know if you have any questions guys. I am here to help you maximize your returns while minimizing your efforts and I will tell you when a card isn't right for Slab Sharks. Heck, I tried to talk Scott out of selling his Roy collection!
