Iginla: 2003-04 Topps Bowman "Draft Picks & Prospects" series

[Uhtred the Viking]

This is the entire group of 9 Iginla cards produced for this series. I've always liked Topps cards, and this is an example of a grouping that I don't mind chasing, even if the image is the same. The Xfractor card #/150 reminds me of the OPC Platinum Royal Blue Cubes card, very shiny with a neat pattern.

At 24 packs and 7 cards per pack you certainly got a lot of cards for around $160.00 US. There were only 9 variations in the Goal to Goal set, making it a great little set to chase if you were so inclined.

Agree on your assessment of the product; I love that stuff! Never had seen one of those Goal to Goal cards before! Just a heads up, your base and chrome labels are swapped!

I really like the variations for this group. It's actually one of the smaller groups for Iggy, considering the 50+ groups for Artifacts & SPGU that were common for several years.

Topps was always top notch, and super high quality paper stock. Thanks for finding the swapped labels, I've fixed the image. That's what I get for tinkering with the original when I had to resize and move some of the images.

Yup, I'd say they are the Rolls-Royce of early hockey cards from Iggy's career.

They are very distinctive, and would be easy to pick out amongst a group of cards.

I didn't have room to display the back of the Goal to Goal card, but it says the "Net Relic" was acquired from the 2003 NHL YoungStars Game. It is a very thick piece!
