Iginla Nameplate - Panini Prime


Some of you may have already see this on other platforms, but I have spent a lot of time on HI since 2008, and made a lot of friends here. I couldn't leave HI out of the mix.

This nameplate comes from 2011-12 Panini Prime. The first 5 letters were acquired within a 4 month span in late 2012 and early 2013. Over the next decade I kept searching for the last letter I needed (G), but no luck until early July of 2023 when I saw it listed on eBay. I won the auction, but figured I would get around the high shipping costs to Canada by having it shipped to my COMC mailbox. I was notified by eBay within a week that the card had been delivered, then settled in to wait for COMC to process the card. I had sent another card from eBay to COMC about a week earlier, so figured that would be a good indicator of when I could expect the G to be added to my account.

Well the first card was processed and added to my account. I waited a couple of weeks, and no notification re: the G. I decided it was time to contact the help desk at COMC. I provided all of the purchase information, including a tracking number that I had been given. They were very helpful, and got back to me very quickly. Imagine my surprise when I was told that it had been placed in with unidentified mail. They didn't know whose account to place it in. The tracking number saved me.

The G arrived yesterday to join the rest of the gang. They really are spectacular looking cards!

Totally agree! I miss Panini, but Prime & Dominion in particular.
