Hello hockey card enthusiasts,

You may remember me as a budding young collector with a passion for the hobby, or you may not remember me at all. Well, that passion has fizzled and now collecting seems very "blah" and pointless. With needs such as a car and college right around the corner, now seems like an opportune time to bid farewell to the hobby that has treated me so well.

I'm planning on putting most of my stuff on eBay. I would rather do that than do negotiations because I've been out of the mix for so long that I'm not sure the exact value of my cards. I will try to list about 3 cards on average per day starting with some of my big guns.

I would like to thank all the people I've ever traded with here and on Beckett. I would like to especially thank Steve Angel and Steven Singer who are great traders and great people. In some ways you guys had become my role models not because you've got incredible collections but because of your generosity and hospitality, you guys made me feel like one of the adults and I'm grateful for that.

I try to make a collection total page similar to Vegaspuck's but don't be surprised if I let it get out of date for a while. If anyone was wondering what my collection was looking like here's a post I made a while back with most of the highlights of my collection

Also Zatta I’ll be getting back with you sorry for draginng out our transaction for sooooo long.

Sorry to hear you're leaving....you might have one or two things that I'm interested in (notably the Lidstrom 00-01 Auto jersey)....is it still available???

Cory, that's a bummer as you were always one of the easiest to deal with. I totally understand where you are though and good luck in everything you do. Don't hesitate to stop by the site though and say Hi!! :)

Well dagnabit, that chows. Very sorry to see you leave, Cory. I hope that in time you might rediscover your passion and return. If not, it's been a blast while you were part of the hobby.

Said it before, I'll say it again now: I'd sooner deal with Cory than with many of the "adults" in this hobby. A definite class act, and the hobby is losing BIG time with your departure, C. Good luck in college.

One pearl of wisdom for college: Beer is your best friend, and drink a lot of it. :)

Dang... I guess I go back to being just plain old Cory now - no more Cory1 and Cory2.

I'll echo what Q said Cory - enjoy yourself in all the upcoming things you have to do; we'll still be here when time permits for you to drop in and visit!

All the best to you in your future endeavours! :D Have a great time at college, as it's a once in a lifetime experience.
