In The Game-Used Update

I'm OK with ITG using tried-and-true designs here. There are some subtle changes to keep things a little fresh and almost all of the examples shown are clearly marked "In The Game-Used". I used to wonder why ITG wouldn't vary the "look and feel" of their cards but have come to the conclusion that it is a deliberate part of their branding strategy. I've accepted it; YMMV.

one more thing to not be only negative about ITG..

What I like on ITG is, how to say, their system how they choose memorabilia pieces on the cards. UD often chooses one color jerseys/patches (actually one colour patch does not even look like a patch but rather than a jersey) on their low #ed cards (e.g. 1/1 card with one color patch). But ITG carefully chooses every piece of memorabilia and I like it.

For example I have base jersey card with one colour jersey, silver version with two colours and gold version with three colour jersey. And it looks great. This is quite impossible to get from UD lol.
And I think I have never seen one colour patch used by ITG.

Yeah the design maybe not be as good as UD on some of their sets but they make that up by having a insane good GU selection which to me is the reason i care more for them as their vintage and hof cards nobody can beat, design isnt everything and without the license i would say it does its job, sure could be better but i dont see it being that bad really.

It just seems like most of ITG's brands look the same to the point where I can't tell which product the cards come from as they lack visual uniqueness.

It would be such a minor change to do what Panini's done with several of their sets, and incorporate a small logo on all of the card fronts with the year and name of the product. I know it wouldn't really change the overall card designs, which are usually redundant, but it would at least help collectors figure out what they're looking at.
